Biological Theories of Aging

Abstract
A number of theories for the biological aging have been presented. The multiplicity and healthy diversity of the aging theories stand in contrast to our very limited knowledge about the nature of aging. In aging research, gerontologists have not
yet
isolated characterized the genes involved in aging. It is therefore helpful to have diverse theories that contribute stimuli to research in the area. However, the most important idea is to integrate the various theories to provide more unified
presentation of biological aging I discuss the leading theories of what causes aging and evaluates the relevance of these theories to current and future research on aging.
